Update on Nonstop Flights to the Waccamaw Golf Trail

With a recently expanded number of direct flights to and from Myrtle Beach International Airport, getting to your Waccamaw Golf Trail golf vacation is easier now than ever before.
Spirit has already resumed nonstop service from Philadelphia, Detroit and Niagara Falls, N.Y. and is set to resume service from Pittsburgh, Hartford, Cleveland and Chicago-O’Hare by the end of March. The airline currently offers year-round service from Boston, New York, Baltimore and Newark as well as a couple additional locations.
American Airlines is set to resume service from Dallas/Fort Worth on May 3 accompanied by a resumption to and from Chicago O’Hare the following day. Direct flights from New York-La Guardia are also set to resume June 8. Destinations offering year-round service include Charlotte-Douglas, Philadelphia, and Washington-National.
Delta has recently resumed service from Detroit and is scheduled to provide service from Boston starting June 8 in addition to year-round flights fromAtlanta.
Once spring is in full swing, Allegiant will be offering nonstop, direct flights from 18 different locations. Some of these include, but are not limited to, Cincinnati (April 5), Louisville (June 15), and Huntington/Ashland, West Virginia (May 17).
- Frontier Airlines resumes service in April from Islip, N.Y., Trenton, N.J. and Philadelpnhia;
- Sun Country resumes service from Minneapolis/St. Paul on April 5;
- United resumes service from Newark, N.J. on March 31, and launches daily service from Chicago-O’Hare on April 6; and
- Porter has already resumed service from Toronto, Ontario, while WestJet is also offering service from Toronto beginning April 29.
With so many flights now heading this way, there’s no excuse not to hop on the next one out! But don’t forget to pack your clubs, because what’s a trip to Myrtle Beach without a few rounds on the Waccamaw Golf Trail?
