Classic Golf Group is proud to announce Rick Taylor, general manager and head golf professional of the Founders Club at Pawleys Island as the recipient of the “2009 Myrtle Beach Area Golf Course Owners Association (MBAGCOA) Employee of the Year."
The Myrtle Beach Area Golf Course Owners Association selected Taylor based on criteria established by the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association (SCGCOA) that included exceptional quality of the course, exceptional quality of the management, outstanding contribution to the community and significant contribution to the game of golf. Rick joined Classic Golf Group in 1993. As general manager at Burning Ridge Golf Club, he was instrumental in guiding Burning Ridge in receiving the 2006 Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year and the South Carolina Golf Course of the Year. He has played an integral role in promoting The First Tee program in Myrtle Beach, hosting junior golf clinics and charity golf tournaments throughout the year.
