Introduce Your Daughter to the Game

Every Tuesday at Litchfield Country Club in July, a 40-minute clinic on the basics of the game and 9 holes of golf for the special price of $35 (adult, daughter up to 16 years is free). A great way to introduce your daughter to this wonderful game. Space is limited to the first 8 Father/Daughter-Mother/Daughter groups. Clubs can be provided with advance notice. Summer Shoot Out at Founder's Club at Pawleys Island

Every Wednesday throughout the summer beginning on July 9, join Wayne Weldon at 5 p.m. for a 9 hole, four person scrabble. The cost is $40 per person and includes golf, meals and prizes.

PGA Tour SuperStore World Amateur Handicap Championship

Now celebrating it's 24 anniversary, this is the world's largest single-site amateur golf event, with over 4,000 golfers competing for over $500,000 in gifts and prizes. Played August 25-29, 2008 on over 70 Grand Strand courses, including courses along the Waccamaw Golf Trail. www.worldamgolf.com
